The pianist and composer Mira Carmen Meier was born in Zurich on 19 July 1981. Although her family was not musical, she was given a keyboard instrument for children at the age of 2 and a little later a larger electronic keyboard instrument by her grandparents. This laid the foundation and Mira enjoyed 13 years of piano lessons from the 2nd grade onwards, including lessons on a real acoustic piano. Although these lessons focused on classical music, she began improvising and composing her first passages as a child and continued to refine her compositions into adulthood. Inspired by many well-known neo-classical composers, she found minimalist sounds most appealing. She only decided to professionally record 13 composed songs unplugged with a sound engineer in 2023. True to the motto "the journey is the reward", the desire to make this heartfelt project even more meaningful.
